28 Falconer Street
28 Falconer Street, York
Explore York from a traditional terrace in Holgate, only fifteen minutes walk from the town centre & behind the railway station. There is a king-sized bed, 2 bunks, a sparkling bathroom, full kitchen, and a back yard for summer evenings. Dogs are very welcome. We have 100Mbps broadband & wifi, a coffee machine, toaster, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave - you can make a full roast dinner in the kitchen, with a shop just over the road. I live about 25 minutes away in case of any problems, but unless you have any problems I'll stay out of your way! Holgate sits just behind the railway station, has a big pub opposite, and two small tourist spots within a short walk. Stairs: In common with many narrow old British town houses, the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and have no landing. There are hand rails, but they need some care and energy to climb. Parking: Unfortunately you can't park directly outside as there is a residents parking scheme in operation. However you are able to park 100m up the road in Beech Avenue, which is unrestricted.
